Position : Junior Event Crew

Start Date : Immediate

Location: Near Pangbourne, Reading, Berkshire

Salary : £24,500 Starting - dependant on experience

Overtime : Paid Hourly, regularly available

Holiday : 24 Days + Bank Holidays

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Summary:

Due to our rapid growth, we're looking to recruit more Event Crew to join the team here at Veo Events.

This role will be split between the warehouse and on-site work, though much of the time is spent executing events.

Tasks will include:

• Setup, Installation, Removal of Stages, Dance Floors, Lighting, Sound Systems, Draping, Photo Booths & Mobile Bars, etc
• Maintenance and Preparation of equipment for Events
• Collections and Deliveries of equipment

Working Events can mean long hours, with early starts, late evenings, and work at the weekends, so a positive, good-humored attitude is essential alongside a passion for and dedication to the industry.

While working onsite, you will work individually or alongside other crew in the setting up and de-rigging of equipment. As a business, we supply 800+ events per annum and cover all event types ranging from Private Parties and Weddings to large-scale Corporate Events.

The job will require manual handling with heavy lifting as well as customer-facing activities, so you must reflect our high standards and hard-working ethos throughout. It is essential that you have clean personal hygiene, smart presentation, and a polite accommodating personality.

A full UK driving license is required and the applicant must feel confident driving commercial vehicles (large vans).

The ideal candidate would be based locally to our office (RG8), be willing to work Weekends and be open to earn lots of extra overtime income.
