The Great Hall was the setting for the main event – the awards ceremony. As with many of our stage builds, we put together a bespoke solution to be in harmony with the surroundings. It featured 3 tiers, and was finished in gloss black, perfectly suited to a sophisticated celebration.

Using Gloshine Curved Video Wall, we created a curved immersive ultra-wide video wall that spanned 8m by 3m, across the back of the stage. We finished the set up with a solid black stage façade to keep the look seamless and slick. Two break out screens were used further into the room to echo the visual for guests challenged by the position of their seats.

By rigging four trusses of lighting into the ceiling we were able to provide atmospheric colour changes throughout the event. Martin Profile and Wash moving lights and Prolight Smart up-lights were used through the main room also, allowing us to create a completely immersive feel. The up-lights were positioned beneath the pillars, accentuating the venue’s beautiful architecture.

The entire ceremony was filmed and live streamed through a secure custom website making the event accessible both virtually as well as in person.
